Beware Of Nicholas Cole Of MasteredManuscripts.com

It has come to our attention that Nicholas Cole of MasteredManuscripts.com has been found guilty of not delivering what he has promised his clients.

Mr. Cole was offering a salesletter writing service called NoLimitCopy.com. His promise was to deliver to his subscribers an unlimted number of salesletters every month. On the surface this sounds like a pretty good deal doesn’t it?

Things seemed as though they started out well and a very few clients were initially receiving their requested letters. As the number of subscribers grew the delays grew longer and longer until the salesletters… just stopped coming.

Many just did not even get a fraction of what they had already paid for or anything at all.

Every business has it’s growing pains. That is understandable. Unfortunately at this point, Mr. Cole began to make excuses…..and eventually he simply stopped responding to emails.

In a public announcement Mr. Cole made more excuses as to why things "did not work out." Not once did Mr. Cole use the words "sorry" or "apologize" in reference to the inconvenience he had caused his clients.

Rather than face the music and either complete all pending requested salesletters and issue all refunds, Mr. Cole announced that he had sold "the company." If there even is a new owner, (many believe it’s just another ‘tactic’ – so if there actually is one) was made aware of the declining reputation of the "company."

The name now listed in the nolimitcopy.com Whois record is Ryan Street. We attempted to call ‘ Mr. Street ‘ but the phone number listed gave a "We’re sorry. You have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service" message.

Here’s some live feedback from actual clients of Mr. Cole:

Client #1

I really don’t like posting negative reviews, but I think it is each of our responsibility to let the public know when we have not received what we have paid for. In this way we can save others the headache of spending their hard-earned money and getting nothing in returned.

Nicholas Cole, the owner of masteredmanuscripts.com has taken his potential to be a good copywriter and decided to throw his reputation away by taking payment for services that he did not deliver. Let me explain further.

Mr. Cole runs or ran a copywriting service called "No Limit Copy" which was a membership which claimed to provide unlimited salesletters to it’s members. As it turns out "No Limit" refers to the fact that there is apparently "no limit" to how long it might take you to get the salesletters that you paid for or a refund that was promised.

When Mr. Cole ended up far behind on delivering the service that he promised he announced that he had sold the company. I cannot say whether the company has been sold although the Whois record reflects a different name and a phone number that is "no longer in service".

As it stands now, Nicholas Cole still owes a number of his clients refunds which he has yet to pay. It appears as if Mr. Cole has decided to "take the money and run" and my statement will remain as such until such time as Mr. Cole returns the money he has unlawfully taken.

As this is the case I would rate the company as not being in good standing and would not recommend doing business with them under any circumstances.

Client #2

"Nicholas Cole" Strikes Again!

(Took my money and ran)

Nicholas Cole received a lot of money from hundreds of people who paid him and his group of "professional writers" hundreds of dollars monthly and in many cases thousands of dollars from each for ’salesletters’ that were never delivered and money never got returned.

Several attempts to contact him were made and each time

Cole tried to act as if he was the victim instead of the hundreds of people who he duped out of their hard-earned money.

He would promise "unlimited salesletters" and then not deliver.

When he was called out publicly, he denied any of his crimes

and tried to blame those people whose money he took for being "unreasonable"

for expecting what he promised them he would deliver in writing himself!

I also do not like to leave negative reviews and never would have

unless I had my money stolen from this guy month after month

on his recurring billing set up, each time without ever getting

what I paid for or even an apology.

He claims to have sold his business.

What timing!

He promises the moon, takes your money and bills your same credit card

monthly

and  only After he gets hundreds of people paying him monthly,

THEN "sells his business" leaving everyone without their money

or what they paid for.

Do NOT trust any slick words by "Nicholas Cole".

If he tries to smooth talk you to trick you, do not fall for it!

I wish I had at least once received what I paid for so I could give some

sort of review of his work, but he took the money and didn’t deliver!

I encourage anyone else who has been ripped off by "Nicholas Cole"

to not be afraid to share your story.

He has stolen now from too many people.

(Just like the first reviewer, the only reason there is even 1 star on this review is because you have to choose one of the options and that is the lowest possible rating.)

This is posted to warn others to not do business with Nicholas Cole

while you still have your money!

Here is a discussion of Mr. Cole’s practices with clients still looking for either a refund or the promised delivery of salesletters they’ve paid for:

Conclusion: Based upon the unbiased information we have at our disposal we would not recommend doing business with Mr. Nicholas Cole of MasteredManuscripts.com

We would like to thank those who have come forward to expose Mr. Cole. Your efforts to warn your fellow marketers is to be commended.

*Caution: According to sources, Cole has been telling the people who haven’t ordered yet and been burned by him yet he is going to start a "New Copywriting Site".

It appears he is planning on doing the same thing as he did to the others he stole from

without ever refunding them or trying to make it right.

  1. Hi,

Thanks for posting this, I almost signed up for this when it was released. Glad I didn’t. I do have to say that I have used nicholas for copywriting in the past and never had any problem with deliveries or quality.

You say “It has come to our attention that Nicholas Cole of MasteredManuscripts.com has been found guilty of not delivering what he has promised his clients.”

Can you confirm that this is a legal verdict or did you mean to say accused rather found guilty? there is a big difference!

  2. Hi Mark,

It’s nice to see that you didn’t have any problems with Mr. Nicholas Cole and his services. It is good of you to mention that as it shows that Mr. Cole did not defraud everyone he did business with.

Here is the definition of “guilty” according to http://www.dictionary.com

    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/guilty

So as not to confuse any readers out there, we make post such as these to warn people so that they will not waste their time or money on people who may not deliver.

  3. I was a member of Nicholas’ membership for about 7 months. Actually, I used him for 2 years before he started the membership and I still use him. I haven’t had any problems with him and I really don’t think anyone was defrauded. The membership was very different than anything ever attempted by any copywriter, so I completely understood when he could no longer promise unlimited copy to members. Once he sent out the email out saying he was selling it, I canceled my membership because I only wanted to work directly with him and not take a chance on someone I didn’t know.

I really didn’t think it was possible to do that for one person, but for the most part, he was very good at it, plus the copy converts well.

Everyone in business will make a mistake if you try enough things and I think that the membership was his mistake.

With that said, I recently ordered from him and the copy he gave me was very well written.

  4. Hi Ella,

I’m very glad that you had a good experience with Mr. Cole. That is always good to hear.

Re: “I haven’t had any problems with him and I really don’t think anyone was defrauded”

Merriam-Webster defines defraud as “to cheat”. I have firsthand knowledge of someone who was cheated so what I present here is not speculation or conjecture. That would be just plain irresponsible on my part.

You are right, Ella. Many people make mistakes in business. It is how those mistakes are handled that separate the men from the boys.
After what I have seen of how Mr. Cole conducts business, I could not in good conscious recommend that anyone work with him.

  5. He got me too. Purchased on February 23 and have still not received what I paid $297 for.

  6. Sorry to hear about that. I’m glad to see you step up and let others know how Nicholas Cole does business.

Hopefully some potential customers of his will see your message and take heed before entrusting their money and copywriting project to Mr. Cole.

I hope that you are able to get either the service you ordered or get your money back.

Thanks for stopping by to keep us all informed.
